Atom T9 Phone Pad Problem

Why does it that sometimes when I select to use my Phone Pad it just stays on the keyboard? and the input selection hangs from then on..stays on the keyboard forever.. until soft reset.

Im using 20060414 ROM and T9 Phonepad directly from my Mini..
Is there a version specifically for the Atom?

I have tried the Atom version as you suggested but the Phone pad still hangs sometimes I select it.. mostly after i have activesynced with my PC..


Can anyone verify? in the following steps

Reboot -> Active Synced (USB) -> Goto messages -> click on input button -> select phone pad.. does it hang?

Any solutions yet?

try reinstalling it again, no need to remove first it will do a remove and install and should work fine.. check other thread tho for other issues

tried this a number of times..still it would revert back to keyboard.

think it's caused by having too many today screen plug-ins.
remove some or all the plug-ins and try again
