now that you have s-off,hboot can be hex edited to not display the red "this build is for development etc etc" warning when booting or entering recovery.

i personally am not a fan of modifying/messing with the bootloader too much, but i have someone willing to do to the edits who knows how to do them safely.

i dont have this device on any carrier,so im not familiar with current hboot version and build numbers.

we basically just need the following for each variant(sprint, vzw,GSM t6ul):
-a copy of hboot
-your cid
-your mid
-product id(aka t6ul or t6wlv)

if hboot is not available from an ruu or OTA packack you can dump it with:

adb shell

su (if you need to to get a #)

dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p12 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p12

upload the hboot image and post/pm a link along with the other info

Hex Edited hboots - Testers Needed
Verizon hboot is done.
For anyone willing to test, please send me a PM.
I need a tester for each variant still.

Once each variant has been tested by a One Max owner, I will get them posted in a public thread for everyone.
What I have done previously for the Vzw HTC One was this:
Make one with no red Development text.
Then I also made a second type as requested, which I call a ***Faux Locked*** hboot.
The faux locked hboot has the red text removed as well, but also reads as though the bootloader is locked and s-on, while still being 100% unlocked and s-off.
Assuming there will be interest in both types, I have made and will be posting the same for you guys, for the One Max.

If you guys happen to have the android-info.txt that comes in your latest RUU or OTA, that would also be great!
Thanks for supplying them so far.

Verizon is done, waiting for tester to get home to test them.
I was also asked to make one for the Butterfly S today and did that as well for anyone interested in that.

Ok cool, I figured it wouldn't be too hard to piece together, but figured I'd ask as it's always nice to know for sure...
But that sounds good, I appreciate that. I will let you know.
I also realize it works fine without doing it that way, but it's just that much safer.
