To be able to root your device you first need to unlock your bootloader.
This will trigger something in the device making it always able for the technician to see that you unlocked your device.
Moto G XT1032 - Status: Unlocked, Rooted, Philz CWM 6.0.4.7, Stock 176.44.1 EU (KK 4.4.2)

My friend asks to Motorola and they said him if you unlock the bootloader, the warranty will be cancelled. But I don't know if it exists an alternative method.

If i LOCK/RELOCK the bootloader, unroot, restore like this:

Will the service technician see a previous ROOT with this method?

You don't even have to unlock your boot loader to lose your warranty. You lose it when you ask for the unlock key!

The unlock keeps a fuse in this case. So if you relock they can see always that bl has been unlocked at least one time. I don't know about gpe version.

No. You can not root without unlock bootloader. Atm there is not exploit can do that on moto g. If you want root you must unlock bootloader for now.

Hai detto: "The unlock keeps a fuse in this case." Cosa vuol dire fuse???
