Hi all,
any help here will be greatly appreciated...

i quick booted into twrp, in order to wipe dsta/system/cache/dalvik. it appeared to be working, however after about 5 minutes, i noticed that it had not wiped system.

i powered off,on,, and am now only able to access the lg boot screen, and also if i hold vol up, and plug into pc i can access download mode..

ive downloaded lg support tool, however i am stuck mentally here. advice needed!

It takes a long time, i had this issue before, just enter recovery manually Volume Down + Power at LG Logo release and press again.

Then flash CM or something it will take a long time but it will fix it.

ive been able to get back into recovery.

timing is very important for this as i thought there was something wrong, but holding down+power from the off state, see lg logo, immediately release buttons, then hold power key gets you to the factory reset screen. push power to reset, and then it boots into twrp recovery...

Use system recovery in the LG support tool, before connecting the phone to PC turn off completly the volume up + power until U rich download mode. The plug and after PC installs phone, find the Recovery option.

Thanks to your post, I knew I should really give TWRP a chance to restore (which wipes system) and after like 15 minutes, it finished wiping system and moved on.

Thanks for sharing this info.
