How to flash a new kernel?

Hey i want to flash a new kernel on my rooted htc one x. It runs CM 10.1 4.2.2. Which one is the best and how to flash it? Is der any advantage or benefits of flashing a kernel?

None of them is the best. Just try them until you find one that suits you best.

You flash it by flashing the modules zip in recovery and boot.IMG in fastboot.

So can i install any kernel on cm 10.1 or is there any specific kernel?

Any kernel based 3.14 or higher

Flash the boot.img with fastboot and install the .zip with the recovery !
