Default [Q] battery life + rom

Hello all I am sure this is somewhat of an opinion oriented question
I am on ATT running : MK2 , android 4.4.2 goldeneye 22r1 kernel 3.4.0-481100
and MY battery is poor 6 hours use down to 36% gps off. only talking on phone an hour and email push

1) anyone know of a better rom for galaxy s4 that still preserves TW , and has better battery life
2) any other recommendations
3) is it android wasting battery after 4.2.2 upgrade

thank you for your help

There are a ton of questions that need to be answered before any one can really give you an answer. But if you're rooted get betterbatterystats and see what is eating up your battery.
