Default [Q] Twitter contacts integration?

I can't seem to add or link Twitter contacts in the Contacts app, something I'm used to from HTC phones. Xperia with Twitter is authorized & synced and listed as one of the autosync accounts, but Twitter doesn't show up in the Filter options at all.

Is this not possible on Xperia phones?

Sadly reinstalling Twitter multiple times doesn't help.

Do you see Twitter listed under Contacts > menu > Filter > Display Contacts? Because I don't.

Edit: I should also add that the Contacts > Settings > Show Status Updates option is greyed out and not selectable.
