Default Batteries for Spare (3rd Party, Branded or Non)

Anyone using the Gold Replacement batteries form Ebay, like this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181192785200?var=480263740550&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

How's its performance?

Any recommended replacement batteries of acceptable quality, tested and in use.

I don't believe it's possible to fit 4200mA worth of power into a Lithium 3200mA battery size and their feedback would seem to agree. That particular battery has some complaints about it.

Any time a battery is listed as being significantly more powerful than the original but the same physical size it's bull droppings.

The listing doesn't mention it so I'd take it as read that the battery does not have the NFC antenna built in to it either as the original does. This would not be a problem unless you want to use NFC of course.

Not much use to you perhaps but I use one from Amazon.co.uk http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 it's a great battery but it does not have the NFC antenna in it either.

Certainly didn't expect the $7 gold battery to have lNFC out 4200mah.
Turns out to be only about 70% capacity to stock, and charges at same rate.
Quite distinctly, the battery is made out of 2 smaller batteries laid laterally. You can see the dividing line and bent the battery slightly.
No NFC, no flickering voltage inconsistencies, usable up to 0%.
Good enough as a cheap short term backup for $7.

Next up, is a $5 0.65A battery dock charger. Wonder how long it takes to charge a flat to full.
My guess 8 hours.
