[Q] Traffic to Google DNS servers?

I'm noticing that my Note Pro (and to a lesser extent, my Note 2) are making DNS queries to Google DNS servers every few minutes. But what is strange is that my DHCP settings don't include the Google DNS servers, so they must be hardwired into something? Has anyone else seen this?
