Default Irritating 'OTA available' popup

I recently got a notif informing me that an OTA update was available. I downloaded it (approx 10mb) but then realized I was running faux's kernel and CWM 6 recovery. Now every 3-4 hours moto care app pops up informing me to install the update. I've deleted the .zip from the /cache. Any other ideas?

Rename the files in /system/app/
3c_ota.apk --> 3c_ota.apk.org
3c_ota.dex --> 3c_ota.apk.org

And reboot, or force kill the "MotorolaOTA 1.0" process.

There's 2 files named 3c_main.apk and 3c_main.Dex . Should I rename these?

I checked processes, and there's only a parent 'Motorola Services' under which there are 5 processes, 1 of which is OTA service
