All,

When you first set up the Moto G by adding your google account, all the apps in Google Play MyApps are installed. How can I choose what is installed the first time around?

Thanks

I did this so I could load my Titanium backup onto a fresh kitkat install when I upgraded from 4.3... I *think* I made sure my phone wasn't online during that initial setup, then changed the settings in the play store app so that it didn't auto-update apps... but it was a month ago so I can't be 100% sure I'm remembering right

When setting up your google account, make sure to uncheck "Keep this phone backed up and restore from a previous backup" -not sure of the wording, but that's what it says in general. Later you can go into settings and turn "back up" on if you want, it won't trigger a restore.
