Default Replacement wired headset for wizard

Hi folks,

My O2 Mini S wired headset that came included with the phone died within a month of phone purchase. Actually, 1 speaker died, the other one still works and so does the mike. I use it inside a helmet while driving my motorcycle. I have 2 questions that I would like your help on:

1. Is there a generic replacement available for the standard wired headset, or do I have to buy one from O2?

2. If I choose to use a BT headset like the Jabra 500 or Plantronics 510, how good is the reception on a moving motorcycle (if anyone has done this before)? How long will the battery last with full time BT use? I'm on O2 AKU2 rom. Sadly, I haven't come across any stereo BT headsets that would fit inside a helmet. If you have, please point them to me.

Thanks,

Why not just replace the earpiece I have done this several times dead easy with just a little soldering ,you could even replace them with decent earbud type.
