I have faithfully stood by my Galaxy Note II since launch and had no desire to upgrade once since I had until recently. A little less than 2 months ago I dropped my phone shattering its screen. I went through Asurion and paid the $200 deductible. Sadly a few days ago, the LCD digitizer( I believe its called) underneath the front screen crack after being sat on. I immediately lost touch capability but I can use the stylus. The display works but just doesn't emit enough light to use. It all faded after 2 days. I couldn't bring myself to pay another deductible for the same phone so I jumped ship entirely including changing carriers.

I know this Note II still has potential to be of use. Any (constructive) ideas on what I could do with it besides selling it or using it as a paperweight

Heh, use it as cloud storage. Or a permanent torrent server. Help the world by seeding! lol

That is, if you can see enough to install the apps ... there's always adb options I suppose.
