Default SM-T310/T311 PIT File - gt3_0521.pit

Whilst I was searching around yesterday I came across the PIT file for the SM-T310/T311, it was inside a firmware archive.

Thought I'd post it up here if anyone ever needed it, not sure if I can link to the forum I found it on but if you Google "T311XXUAMG1_OXEAMF4.part1.rar" you should find the source.

As far as I can tell it's universal between both T310 & T311, possibly T315 but I'm not sure?

I compared this file to a one I downloaded directly from my T310 using Heimdall-Frontend via Ubuntu and both had the exact same entries/contents.

I believe this PIT file can be used via ODIN whereas one generated/downloaded using Heimdall can't due to some security check.

It's a good idea to backup this file in case you ever mess up your devices partitions.

These 2 XDA threads offer information on PIT files:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=816449

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=999097

Basically, I'd only ever use a PIT file if Odin threw up an error relating to it, 99% of the time these are not needed when using Odin unless you've screwed up your devices partitions.

It's handy to have this file saved as a backup though just in case that ever happened
