LG G2 Hiding Folders?

I have created some folders on my G2 using Astro and I have put the dot before the folder name to make it hidden. This part went just fine. However, when I plug my G2 into my windows PC the phone shows up in windows explorer as a "Portable Media Player". When I try to navigate through the folder structure I can see my hidden folders. When I select the folder options, the "hidden" attribute box is gray and I cannot hide the folder in windows. Any ideas how to hide these folders from the windows explorer?

I really wish LG would have put an SD card slot in this phone. I find it to be a huge hindrance. Otherwise I love this phone.
