Audio [Q] AptX - GPe

Please bear with me.

**When a device has AptX, on Bluetooth connection, the Bluetooth volume is automatically set to Maximum. I sort of know this because all my AptX devices do this.

I know the hTC One had AptX on its original firmware (and did the above**). I updated to Android 4.3 and subsequently converted to rooted GPe (now with a custom kernel ([Kernel][Jan29][Sense4.4.2&JB/GPe]teaMSeven2.3.6[Flick2Wake|TapWake|BLN|Hotplug|OC|Pano360] by tbalden)

From what I seem to remember Android 4.3 did not seem to have AptX (above**). I contacted hTC and they seem to suggest it had AptX compatibilty and suggested I wipe the cache (but converted to GPe before I could try that.

My current set up (Rooted GPe with tbalden's Kernel) does not seem to do the above** and my understanding is it does not have AptX

My question is does the official GPe has AptX support and is there at to check?

check logcat for apt-x or Bluetooth entries when you connect aptx enabled Bluetooth headsets. use catlog for easier filtering. you'll either get sbc or aptx mode..
