Default [Q] Getting rid of Xperia C

Hi all ,

With the recent developments , we know that , Sony is already ignoring our device as it is releasing updates to other devices of same range and not ours. Plus this device is not available in the US , which makes it even more doubtful if we will get an update. Since the boot loader is locked , we cannot depend on Devs here to get the update for us as well ,

Do u ppl think its a good idea to sell this phone ? , when i approached a shop to sell it , he informed that he will give me only 13k for this phone , given the falling re-sale value , is it a good idea to sell it and buy a Moto G ?

How do you guys rate moto G compared to our xperia C ?

Default ?

Are you sure that Sony is ignoring our device ? I have already receveid an update recently. If it's true what u are sayin', then maybe we should tell Sony about it, i don't know how although. I'm pretty satisfied for now with my device.

DONATE TO ME
Actually, like I have said in many other threads, don't blame Sony, blame Mediatek for not giving Sony sourcecode for 4.3 or 4.4.2.
My devices:
  • Xperia X8 ➜ CM7 ➜ nAa kernel
  • Xperia Ray ➜ CM10.1 ➜ nAa 3.4 kernel
  • Xperia U ➜ CM10.1 ➜ Unknown kernel
  • Xperia Arc S ➜ CM10.2 ➜ nAa 3.4 kernel
  • Nexus 7 ➜ AOKP ➜ M-Kernel
  • Xperia C ➜ Stock ➜ Stock kernel
  • Xperia Z1 Compact ➜ Stock ➜ Stock Kernel

Yes i feel sony is ignoring , as they are giving out updates to other similar devices , i think this is happening coz xperia c is an Asia only device.

Ya it might be mediatek's mistake as well , either ways , we are being denied updates , right now i am satisfied with the device as well , but think about it , we have not got kitkat ( many phones have got) , so this means we won't get any future updates also right ? , thats what worries me a bit , if we could get custom rom's then i wud not worry about it , but thats not going to happen for sure , which worries me,

How do u guys rate Moto G compared to ours ?
