After i flashed this my phone didn't boot
I'm not 100% sure it wasn't my fault since i changed some other things too. I will try to verify this tomorrow, but all who want to try this MAKE A BACKUP FIRST!!!

Hmm i dont know why you get an bootloop... we have test it with CM10.1 and CM10.2 no problems there as far i know.

BTW: I've updated the OP (Step 3 and Step 4 are new) and also updated the flashable.zip (added one missing file).

Please give an feedback if its working for you or not...

Thank you and enjoy

Jesus, man! It's amazing! I'm using cm10.2, which usually uses at least 1min to fix gps, and with this mod I got 10sat fix in less than 10s! It's absolutely not a placebo effect!
The only thing: you should fix permissions (making them executable) of gps-update on /system/bin and 07lto-dat (or something like that) on /system/etc/init.d
Thanks a lot!

As i said i'm not sure it was the zip, but it also wasnt a bootloop, it didn't even get to the bootscreen. I just wanted to warn other users

Boot your recovery and make fix permission, this should help you.

Doesn't seem to work here on ICS either. Getting permession denied when typing gps-update too. And yes, I did fix permessions.
Will try a few more things and edit this post if I succeed.

Edit: I got it now!!!
Guide to those who get permession denied:

- Stay in recovery after flashing the zip (this guide is for TWRP users)
- Enter Mount -> Now mount system
- Enter Advanced menu -> File Manager
- Browse to this: system/bin/gps-update, press on gps-update
- Press on 'chmod 755'
- Reboot phone.
- Enter terminal emulator, write su and then gps-update
- Done.

This worked for me! Try it.
