Did anyone had problem with dolphin browser and flash player?
When I try to open any website which contain anything with flash, browser try to install flash and it fails due to flash is already installed. And it doesn't play or show any flash content??
I was having the same issue. I think there is something amiss with the flash/dolphin combo install from the aroma installer. The solution I found was to not select Dolphin from the aroma installer when installing the ROM. After the ROM is installed and settled out, install Dolphin from the Play Store and then side load the flash player. You can find the flash player apk from an internet search and will need to check the box to allow installation of apps from Unknown Sources in the security section of setup.

On ROM2SD speeds...

Hi guys,

I am owning this tablet for long, and I always tried to make it work decently - without really succeding.
Too often happens that my patience threshold is overcome and feel the need to throw this 700€ thing out of the window.

My current setup is this thread's ROM installed with ROM2SD on an external 64GB sd card - link - so partitioned:
/data in f2fs
/system in ext4
plus the internal memory being in f2fs.

I just tried running a benchmark using a microsd speed tester (A1 Speed tester) and it results the internal memory seems actually faster than the microSd. Shoudn't be the opposite? I'm confused. Is there some cache acting thus distorting the results?

Anyway, the purpose doing all this partitioning and ROM2SD was to make this tablet usable but actually, it isn't.

Any advice? Am I doing sth wrong?

Thank you in advance

Yes that card should be pretty decent.

Without any logs it's hard to guess what your issues might be.

You must do a full wipe in recovery if coming from another ROM base. Do not do a full wipe from the bootloader. Don't forget to do a Nandroid Backup first and give the ROM 10 mins to stabilise!

    adb reboot bootloader

    To flash the recovery:

    ROM2SD/DATA2SD USERS PLEASE READ!
ROM2SD only works if you have CROMBi-kk, CROMi-X or miniC flashed on internal with a THATv10+ kernel. Just choose ROM2SD in the installer of CROMBi-kk to flash it to ROM2SD and the installer will do the rest.

    - Install CROMBi-kk and choose ROM2SD or DATA2SD install

The ROM2SD1.zip below is only needed if you need to switch your recovery to between normal and rom2sd mode. For Example you want to backup or restore a rom2sd installation. Flash once to go rom2sd and flash again to go back to normal. A reboot always puts you back to normal. Thanks to _that!

Using GParted to setup a micro SD for ROM2SD or DATA2SD support

First and foremost - DO NOT USE MINI TOOL!

Formatting a micro sd card for ROM2SD
Note for DATA2SD just do one partition in stead of 2 ;)

We will be using a GParted Live boot USB and a FAST good quality micro sd like a Sandisk or Samsung Class 10 - SDHC/SDXC UHS-1 card with read speed of at least 20MB/S. If you have a cheap chinese eBay card don't bother - they are not good enough.

You will also need a USB Stick with at least 1GB size. Note this process formats the USB disk so don't keep any important files on it. It will also wipe your micro sd so make sure you are prepared.

    1. Go to the link below and download the GParted Live CD/USB/HD/PXE Bootable Image and save it somewhere you remember
    http://gparted.sourceforge.net/download.php
    2. Download Linux Live USB Creator and install it
    http://www.linuxliveusb.com/

    3. Fire up LiLi USB Creator:
    a. Choose your USB key - I,e, the drive letter for your USB (not sd card)
    b. Choose your GParted iso image for the source
    c. Choose the check box to Format Key in FAT32 and hide files
    d. Click the lightning bolt to create
    OZHOmQn.png

    4. Now you have a bootable disk you need to boot from it. You may need to alter you BIOS Settings on your PC to boot from a USB Stick but mine did it without messing.
    5. Insert your micro SD card into an SD Card adapter and insert into PC
    6. Boot into GParted ;)
    3FFqWmn.png

    7. Choose Gparted Live <Enter>
    8. Don’t touch keymap <Enter>
    9. Languge <Enter>
    10. Start Gparted Automatically
    11. Change device to your micro sd )it will default to you hard disk - hda– mine is /dev/sdc

    gsiR9qR.png

    12. Delete all existing partitions

For a 64GB card: (resize as needed but /system doesn't need to be bigger than 1GB)
    13. Create new, always select primary: do this 3 times.
    14. FAT 32 : Size 16GB – this will be /dev/sdc1 in gparted and will be your sdcard for storage in Android
    15. EXT4 : Size 42GB – this will be /dev/sdc2 in gparted and will be your /data partition in Android
    16. EXT4 : Size 1GB – this will be /dev/sdc3 in gparted and will be your /system partition in Android (not needed for data2sd)

    eXFznzI.png

Apply, wait until it finishes and then reboot. Remember to remove the usb stick ;)

*Images stolen from elsewhere as I couldn’t get it to save mine :(

Now you are ready to install ROM2SD. Note if you want to use DATA2SD then only do 2 partitions 1x FAT32 and 1x larger EXT4

Then reinstall CROMBi-kk but this time choose the ROM2SD / DATA2SD option
    34
Currently you can have it on internal but you can't run ROM2SD if you do. _that, lj50036 and I are working hard in the background - we were up late last night and we think we have identified the issue. Hopefully we'll have a robust fix for KK based roms. I'm going to test another hack in a minute :)

This not a letter of pity, but one of thanks. I didnt think you would understand the depth of my feelings without a little background. I had to retire early due to problems develoing from spinal bifida. This has limited my activities and on my tablets throughout the day, doing whatever.
I also have treatment resistant prostate cancer. My medicine is over $7000 a month. We gotten help with finances so at this time it's not as bad as it could be. Still I'm of of pocket $500+ per month just for medicine. I have no clue what next week will bring but as of today were okay. I got good news today because I found out new medicine is working.
    Enough about me.
Starting with Scott and then sbdags add in _that's, let me know, and many others along the way, and now lj50036 this thread has been a very I important part of my life. I read post every day. I respond perhaps more than I should when I think I have something to add. I learn, oh have learned. Sbdags threads have been and are both meaningful and activity full endeavors for me. I wonder how many flashes I done and wonder of wonders my babies still work and are better than ever.
Sbdags said how much more fun the tf700 was over the tf701, and I get it. If tf700 was great out of the box maybe non of this would have happened. So the tablet I hate to love, and I do, has brought us all together. A community from around the world, form a small town in eastern Oregon to the great urban centers of the world. And we are here, trying to get our tablets running better.
So I want to thank all of you, and especially want to thank lj50036 for his work in making this huge leap forward. I can still be amazed by this tablet. Thank you so much lj50036, you help make my day more interesting than it would be. And as always a special thanks to sbdags for picking up the ball and keeping this development going.
    Woody

    1. Enable developer options by clicking the build number 7 times in settings - about tablet
    2. Go to developer settings
    3. In the first section click Root access and change to Apps and ADB

OK Folks test build 20140314 is up :) I'll update the main page tomorrow so those that follow the thread get it early as a preview :)

A few changes - the main one is to change the scroll sensitivity. Let me know if I set it too high - feels more like cromi-x now :) Best score with this build was 9700 but averages 9400.

    Enjoy!
