Default WEP and Mobile 5

I got my brand new TMO MDA, yippee!
Seems to work well so far, but I can't connect to wi-fi that is WEP enabled.
I disable WEP, and I can connect, works great.
Turn back on the encryption, and never connects.

Am I missing something?

Called TMO; they claim WEP isn't supported. Interesting concept, but I don't believe them.

I don't have a WiFi with my device. But, it should be very obvious if it support WEP or not. I mean, at the place where you setup your WiFi on your PPC, there should be a place where you can choose which type of protocol/security that you want to use and it will ask you to input the key for your WEP.

Close.
For other reasons, I have the WEP set to 128 bit.
I will try the 64 bit tonight to see if that works, but I need to find a 128 bit solution.
It prompts me for the key, but won't connect.

64 bit works; 128 bit doesn't....is this a known issue?
Well, 128 ASCII works, but 128 HEX does not. Interesting issue.
