I flashed the MJ9 4.3 firmware via Odin 3.07 and then went up to the Alliance Rom 23 from Jelly Beans 22. I am able to send and receive phone calls, send and receive data, and receive SMS text messages.

I can't send SMS text messages.

I then went to R3D's Nephilim rom and I'm still having the same problems.

I tried reflashing the MJ9 4.3 firmware via Odin 3.07 and 3.09 and also reinstalled both roms twice and still no sms sending.

In CWM recovery I go to reboot and I get (fix root - /system/xbin/su).

Please help.

Was having the same problem on my wife's phone. Is there a way to be on a. 4.3 rom without the new firmware. I can't get text messages to work on her phone with 4.3 to save my life she is stuck on 4.1.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app

Since you're rooted, you can use Titanium Backup and freeze Knox. That's what I did on my Galaxy Note 10.1.

How is this done? Will this allow me to unlock the bootloader again?

Here's a whole list of ways to shut down Knox. Titanium B/U being one of them..http://www.droidviews.com/disable-kn...alaxy-devices/

As for unlocking the bootloader, I would think once Knox is out of the picture, you'll be good to go.
