Tablet [HOW TO] Restore your Tablet to Stock + Reroot + Flash New Rcovery

For Christ's Sake, make a backup to External MicroSD before continuing. Altrough this method is very safe, and been done more than 30 times without problems, it may cake up for your device and scrap it to death. You have been warned.

This is the same for P3110 and P3113. Note that P3100 will have a additional file to flash. Usually, further instructions is always specified on the download page.

REQUIRED:

- Odin ( Any versions should work, but i highly recommend 3.XX or higher. 1.85 can also be used, but it's incredibly old. )
- Stock Firmware. Here's a site to download it. // You need to be a registered user to download, plus the download sites are f*cking lame. Find other alternatives
- A Supplied USB Cable. NOTE, for further security, consider connecting the cable to your Computer's In-built USB ports, and not to some hub.
- The Lastest Odin-flashable CWM Advanced Recovery for your device ( P3113 uses P3110 recoveries )
- CF-Auto-Root
- Patience

STEPS: Remaking your whole device to new!:

Quote:
1. Boot into Recovery Mode. This can be made by Holding Volume Up + Power when your device is powered off, but most Custom Roms allow in the power menu to directly reboot into Recovery.

2. Do a Full Format of Everything. That means: Factory Reset ( /data /cache ), System ( /system ) and Internal Data ( /media/storage )

3. Reboot into DownloadMode. Usually found on the Advanced Options of most CWM-based recoveries.

If for some reason you cannot boot into Download Mode due to some lamecake problem, there's a battery trick floating around. Do it when you absolutely cannot boot into Download Mode.

Quote:
1. Remove your tablet's battery
2. Connect your tablet to your computer
3. Your device should automatically boot into Download Mode.
4. Put back your Battery in
4. Connect your Tab to your Computer

5. Run Odin as Administrator + Windows XP SP3 Compatibility Mode ( Right-Click > Run as Administrator // Right-Click > Properities > Compatibility > Windows XP Service Pack 3 )

6. Click the "PDA" button, and select the previously-downloaded firmware file.

7. Press Start ( Do Not Check Repartition )

8. The Clean-up of your device should start, and should last around 2-5 minutes.

9. You are done.
STEPS: Rerooting your Device!

Quote:
1. Reboot your device into Downloadmode with one of the methods i supplied, without being connected to the computer.

2. Open Odin as Administrator + Windows XP SP3 Compatibility

3. Connect your Device to the computer.

4. Click on PDA and browse + select your device's CF-Auto-Root you previously downloaded

5. Click Start, with Auto Reboot Checked! Do not check "Repartition"!

6. Simply wait one minute, then done! You have your device rooted!
STEPS: Installing CWM Advanced Recovery!
Quote:
1. Reboot your device into Downloadmode with one of the methods i supplied, without being connected to the computer.

2. Open Odin as Administrator + Windows XP SP3 Compatibility

3. Connect your Device to the computer.

4. Click on PDA and browse + select your device's CWM Advanced Recovery ( Make sure it's odin flashable! ) you previously downloaded

5. Click Start, with Auto Reboot Checked! Do not check "Repartition"!

6. Simply wait one minute, then done! You have CWM Advanced Recovery installed!

Maybe I'm just missing it, but I've gone to a couple of firmware sites and I can't find US firmware. Is there anywhere I can get that?
