Default [Memorial] RIP Jinxxed aka

Some of you have crossed his pathway over xda or modaco,

he made a lot of work for us, started over on madteam with galaxy 5 and then specialized basebands here on xda for the mini and continued to improve android experience in ZTE Blade then Alcatel one-Touch 995, mostly with multiloop scripts and kernel upgrades.

he was not only a dev, but also a father, a grand-father and a friend.

He was sharing with some of us his great knowledge and was sometimes really too far from our basic knowledge.

Sadly, few months ago, the bad news went out, lymphoma was killing him.

After some month of painful migraines, during which he continued to work on kernels and so on, Patrick left us end of 2013.

I wanted to take some time there to share with you this, especially because i'm sad, and also because some of you still don't believe that's true.

He was indeed quite "special" from time to time, with a real straightforward way to explain things, surely linked to his former job (soldier for special forces in sweden, he served in Kosovo, Bosnia and Afghanistan)

Anyway, now, he is gone, and i just wanted to left some word for his memory , if it's not the good place for that, feel free to moderate this post.

Here are two songs he liked :

Once upon a time there was a guy who lived in Sweden, who fought with honor in Kosovo, Bosnia and Afghanistan, who loved his children more than his own life.

May the lights shine on him and his family and may Oden bless him with a "Jul" that he and those who are with him will remember and be proud of !

Thanks for the post Ben.

Patrick told me in a email his health was bad. He didn't tell me just how bad.
The world is just a little dimmer without that guy. We sure did love to fight with each other while giving each other true respect.

I won't say that he and I were "friends", but I think we understood one another and he was a great person. Greatly misunderstood as most truly smart people are.

To his family(if any read this)celebrate his life rather than mourn his passing.

edit Dam that guy hadTERRIBLE taste in music.

Now it's just regular patching to get it up to date and build it, i'll get there, it's just going to take a while.

I'll see you around, now off to bed.

It's mine.

It's still in testing, the kernel has rewritten drivers and all of it is currently untested so i'd be glad if you could keep it on the down-low for now.

IF it ever amounts to something fonix232 will present it.
