I am on 3.06. I tried reloading the stock recovery but it won't work. Probably because of my CID being 111111 or something. I reloaded TWRP but I still get the install update nag for KitKat. Of course it won't install but I looked in TWRP file manager and saw the OTApkg.zip file sitting in a folder. Has anyone tried to load that file from recovery?

I don't want to chance bricking my phone trying it out if it has already been done and doesn't work.
