Is it possible to use a USB external wifi antenna with a nexus 7?

might seem pointless but i think it would be kinda cool to hook up something like this http://www.amazon.com/Alfa-Wireless-.../dp/B001O9X9EU

.... to the Nexus 7. you can get antennas thats have little suction cups, attach it to the back of the tablet and take it for a ride

anyone try it yet?

External antennas have been used on the N7. Here in the general forum, a guy hooked his n7 to a mobile mount and external antenna, so he could fly his wifi controlled drone. He got it out over a mile.

Well you can try and use an usb otg cable and have a usb wireless adapter connected. I havent tried it, but it would be pretty cool. Just make sure you have a rom/kernel that supports usb otg.
