Default [Q] Wipe cache partition error in stock recovery :/

Whenever I try to wipe my cache partition using stock recovery it just says error and my SM-G730W8 justs reboots. How do I know it actually wiped the cache partition and is there another way to wipe it; with a file explorer maybe? I've read that some S4 variants also have this problem but for them it still wipes the cache partition; I just don't know if mine is wiped. Thanks in advance.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini SM-G730W8 on stock 4.2.2 rooted
LG Optimus L3 E400R on stock 2.3.6 rooted
