Default [Q] Root Philips Entertainment Tablet PI3000XY

Got a gift of Chinese phone. I failed to install google play on it. Can I root and install customised ROM? Wish I get some answer from nyone.

There is no seperate forum for your device! Check if any rooting methods and /or custom roms are available in the android development and miscellaneous android development categories! If there ain't anything, you're on your own to find out a rooting method!

Thanks mate. I am a newbie, hardly have ny idea about rooting a device. But if u can give me some link which guides me step by step method, then I would have given a try. Well, if I fail to root can I go back to the factory default setup?

Thanks again

Rooting is different for each device! Find out if any dev or senior member who has experience in rooting has your tablet and ask him /her for advice on rooting!

P. S: try http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1886460 this!

Default dRIVERS PHILIPS

I'm trying with some programs for rooting. Bu I can't find any drivers. Even on the official web philips. U.U

WHERE CAN I GET SOME SOLUTION?

I've tried with srs root but it says the same "not device found", I also tried with superoneclickroot with the same issue.

From the same tablet I tried Framaroot apk, but It did not work

Any help?
