**ALL** the apps I run in emulator, including this downloaded from the Google App page will get the thisApp has stopped unexpectedly error.

Any thoughts? Should I reinstall the Eclipse? Should I run on phone and not emulator?

What I would try first, if you don't want to go straight to using your phone, is to delete the AVD for that emulator, and just make a totally new one. If that doesn't help, then I would proceed to reinstall Eclipse, and then as a last resort use your phone. Did the crash happen on the launch of an app? Try running and then quitting one application at a time, and see if it happens again.
