Is there any way to SIM-unlock (not Region Unlock) a Galaxy Note 3? I have a Note3 with AT&T running MJ5 baseband, is there any way to SIM-unlock it? I've tried Chainfire's regionunlock but sadly it does not work.

I know there was a way for MK2 (Galaxy S4) where you could downgrade your Baseband using Safestrap and then use Regionunlock and it would get rid of your SIM-lock too (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2595457). Is there a similar method for the Note3?

Any help is much appreciated!

Model: SAMSUNG-SM-N900A

Baseband: N900AUCUBMJ5

Kernel:
3.4.0-1625098

The region unlock trick use to work with the original software release ending in MI9. The MJ5 update removed the trick so now you must use an actual sim unlock code. Sim unlock codes can be obtained for free from AT&T customer service IF you are the original owner and say you're going overseas for some time. If you are not the original owner and are on the MJ5 build, you MUST buy a sim unlock code.

I'd recommend www.cobaltunlock.com, they have multiple speeds and cover a majority of phones

Well for one, safestrap doesn't work on KitKat. 2, you need to post somewhere relevant to what you want instead of this thread.

Agent, that was posted almost a month ago. I was going to tell him the same thing, but looked at the time stamp and decude against it.
