Default Factory Reset for Lock Pattern

My Friend Locked his Phone with Pattern and not he doesnt know his password
also he doesnt know his Gmail account .. so i can do it from there.
My Attempts :
1.Flash Stock Rom from SamMobile - Fail (Password Still There)
2.Enter Recovery Mode tring to Wipe Data Factory and Cache - For some odd reason there is a password there also - Fail.
3.Installing Custom Recovery and wiping Data - Stuck on Wiping Data - Fail.

i couldnt care less about the Data in the phone..
i just want to install new Rom or anything else to make it work.

Thank you.

You can try doing it through adb, with the command "adb shell wipe data"or try flashing another Recovery and then wipe the Data partition. That might help.
