Default [Q] Recovery issues.

After getting the phone back from HTC, I've had nothing but problems. After using rumrunner to s-off and unlock the bootloader, I have had nothing but problems with the recovery. It doesn't matter if I'm using TWRP or CWM, the phone refuses to wipe the cache. Every time, it gets stuck on wiping the cache, no matter how much time I give it. I was eventually able to get Cyanogenmod running. However, the GPS wasn't ever able to get a lock, so I am currently in the process of flashing a stock rom in order to get the gps lock on another non-stock based rom. What do y'all suggest I should do? I have never had any of these problems on any phone. I am able to boot into cyanogenmod though.

Have you tried wiping cache using fastboot?

fastboot erase cache

Are you sure you are using the correct recoveries for your phone?

Did you ever update to kk firmware?
