How to re gain access to sd card in 4.4?

Anyone knows how to do it in the stock rom? It's quite annoying mot being able to get podcast in the card. Thx

Use this guide but you will need root, it worked for me. Now sdcard works just like in JB

There is no alternative solution as the problem is related to the system, then if you don't have root you will not be allowed to write to your sd.
