Just to share.. I have flashed Browser2ram and it's working great on my Nexus 7. Great improvement after installation. Credits to XDA member jtrosky for the tweak..

Are you on stock rom? It reduces the lag & improves the browsing speed of Chrome too. Try it.

If you are using a custom ROM (Such as Cyanogen) it comes with the original Android stock browser.

Can we please say "Chrome" and "ASOP Browser", not "Stock"?

Pretty sure the op means stock, as in what it came with by default. (Chrome)

Except the link doesn't take you to a Nexus 7 article, which I believe is the only device other than the Razr HD that ships with Chrome as the only browser. So it would be AOSP Browser.

just tried it.. using the aosp browser, it doesnt make any difference. but the aosp browser is already fast

Chrome is best as compare to other browsers in android and fortunately you can even speed up chrome browser by changing some hidden options.
