Default Pocket Player now supports A2DP and AVCRP bluetooth....

Having a Universal with Bluetooth Stereo and Remote Control is excellent - but previously I was stuck with Windows Media Player, which as a music player, should really be taken out and shot.

I emailed both the creators of Pocket Music and Pocket Player, two excellent music players, but without A2DP and AVCRP support.

The Pocket Player people just got back to me, and supplied a DLL file which gives their player full bluetooth stereo support.

I'm happy to report that it works a treat, so fill yer boots!

Get it here!

Damn, looks like they haven't released the DLL file yet.... expect it in a few days hopefully - I informed them that it works well, and I'm sure others who've been testing it have as well...

RAR'd dll file attached.

Strange, certainly works for me. I found sometimes, even in WMP, that it takes you to next or prev, or even tap the pause button on the main screen to get it working "initially".... then it's fine. Haven't had similar probs with Pocket Player yet....

Not working for me

I copied the DLL file in the Pocket Player's directory, itself in the Plugins section as WM Plugin adapter, if configured, one can also enable WM plugins to load. but the AVRCP is still not working for me.

I am using AnyCom headsets, they work with MediaPlayer and PocketMusic

I tried all buttons.

Tried your method. I can PAUSE by tapping the screen and re-start by pressing the PLAY button on my headphone but cannot PAUSE the music using my headphone button

One more problem.

AVRCP does not work when my QTEK 9000 (aka Universal) is closed i.e. NEXT/PREVIOUS does not work
