I have tried with it Turned on and off but still the same, what could be be the problem? I have viper rom installed, since April, the last selfie i took was in 10/may/2014 and it was perfect, then i try to take one this weekend and it was horrible, the camera lens doesnt look scratched or anything like that.

i have Cerberus installed and it takes a front camera photo when someone misses the lockscreen password, maybe Thats a factor?

If you are using a custom rom then it has to be the rom itself which is causing the problem

The only other thing i can think that may be causing is the default focal distance which ends up going diving into the computer vision algorithms.

Try to flash the stock again rom and see if the problem persists. If the problem is still [resent in a stock build then you should give HTC a call and explain your situation, but im sure your warranty is voided
