Hi,
I am hoping someone out there can help me. I currently have a SPV M600 (Prophet) and I am trying to use the phone to receive my emails. I VPN in to our network over GPRS which appears to connect fine as I checked the ISA server which shows the connection. However, there is no data transfer. It appears that the VPN is not using the IP address of the network that should be assigned to it, which will not allow it to connect to anything on my network. Other windows mobile OS work, just seems to be Windows Mobile 5. Any ideas? |

I dont know where you are but here in France, Orange and SFR block VPN traffic, specifically "GRE 43".
It could be much the same problem. |

Are you using the built in VPN within WM 5, I know for myself I have to use a more complex VPN client to access my work network. I am currently testing Bluefiresecurity's client, it appears to work well but is a bit expensive at $79. Antha VPN also produce a client but I had problems switching between Wifi and GPRS.
I hope this helps. I am on O2 UK and can access my work network using bluefire. John. |
