Default Yoga Tablet 10inch, Root available?

Hi there,

I hope this is the right place to post this. Does anyone know if the root is available for the Yoga Tablet? Or what is the step by step process to create the files to root an Android device?

Thanks in advance

Framaroot works fine. Just download its APK and run it.

Tried it today and didn't work with the Boromir exploit (only one in the list). Got "Failed ... Try another exploit if available (Error #9)"

Default Re: Root for Yoga Tablet

I used this thread to root my Yoga Tablet 8 and it worked great. I also have one of the Lenovo A1000L tablets and this method worked for that model as well. Here is the link to the thread.

Default Framaroot 1.6.1

Hy,

i just bought the Yoga 10 and used Framaroot v1.6.1 to root it, and it worked like a charm.
Version of Tablet: Android 4.2.2, Software Version S100, Build-Number B8000-a422-000-040-131023-ww-wifi

hope there will be an update to 4.3 or even 4.4.

good luck

Use the latest version 1.8.0. Just did it myself. Boromir doesnt work. Faramir worked for me.

Do not work for 10 Yoga 3G. When will the new version FRAMAROOT? Do you know how to make it work easy. I need to install some fonts to make me correctly displayed documents.
