Manual change of the lens of the HTC Universal's camera

Hi to all the community,

I am quite new here, and I was wondering if it is technically possible to manually change the rather poor quality lens of the integrated camera of the HTC universal (= the external one with a 1600x1200 resolution) replacing it by a better lens (same resoluation but with an improved quality/sensibility). So, it is possible to really use the device as a camera.

Besides the feasibility issue, this may of course imply [1] the manual change of the lens and [2] a way of finding piecemeal sales of lenses.
What is your advice/knowledge about this: is it unrealistic / have your heard some infos about this issue?
