[Q] Verizon M8 Unlock/Root?

Does anyone have any information on the ability to unlock/root the Verizon M8? I tried sorting through the information on the One (2013), but I can't really get a good read on the capability of unlocking/rooting a Verizon M7 on 4.4.2.

Exactly. I switched to Google Launcher within an hour of trying blinkfeed.

I need root in order to run Elixir and some other things as system apps.

Are you talking about blinkfeed or the actual launcher? I hate the launcher but love blinkfeed.

Does not work for the Verizon version of the phone.
