Currently using build 7.0 PCFR with Mosh Kernel, it is quite stable, few random reboots, and was able to do -25mv undervolt.

the only major problem i encountered is the slight battery drain, and i suspect it is caused by the kernel. is it possible to have the stock kernel back after flashing custom kernel?

===

will be reverting back to 6.8 for now..

Just flash the ROM again, then you will have stock kernel back.

Updating

@OmarEinea

I browsed this thread (maybe I missed it), but how do I go about just updating the ROM?

I have build 6.8 (loving it so far!), and not all that interested in having to re-install and set it all up again.

Is it just reboot into recovery and flash the new build?

Cheers man, and keep up the great work!

Yes just flash ROM and wipe cache/dalvik - reboot system, if you have customkernel you have to flash him afterwards too, you do not need to flash the gapps again, if don't want to update.

My question to all phone functions / parameters can be exploited slimkat kernel of whether there is any restriction on the conclusion if I ask. Currently, the factory rooted deodexed rom I use, but I'm used to the Slim and it would be nice if I could use this.

sorry my bad english (powered by google translate :) )

    New SlimKat Build 4.8 (20140430)

    Here is my new slimkat build, thanks to akshaybz for twrp resolution fix and for all his effort,

    Description:
    • Built using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)
    • Based on the latest sources from slimroms sources
    • Changed default dpi to "280" , you can always change it using an app like this
    • Included the latest bug fixes from CM11.0 sources, like:
      • Fix for screen orientation, see here
      • Fix for manual network search, see here
      • Other minor fixes

    Download Link:

    Slim-amami-4.4.2.build.4.8-UNOFFICIAL-20140430-0012.zip - 188.79 MB

    Other notes:
    • Bluetooth might not work on first boot, just reboot and it'll work
    • You won't have root access unless you put "Settings>Developer Options>Root access" on "Apps and ADB"
    • I have tested it after coming from stock KK and from cm11 based ROMs,
      there is no need to flash the kernel inside the ROM first
    • If you do a "Format Data" in twrp, you'll lose your internal storage data,
      instead of that, you can do "Advanced Wipe" > check Data and wipe
    • I think the ROM can be called Beta instead of Alpha now;)
