[Q] Watch-on outside US?

It seems that to use Samsung's Watch-on one *must* enter a US zip-code to get a TV listing service.

If I want to use this outside the US (Singapore), I cannot just skip this step.

Is there any rhyme or reason to this?
Is there a way around this?
