So I have a Nexus 7 2013 edition. I originally wanted to try out pwnpad. Everything has been fine, but I noticed that when I swipe too fast up and down any corner really, sometimes even centrally.. It just powers off like I pressed the power button to turn the screen off. I did buy a cheap case off eBay for it that supports magnetic turning off of the device. I was going to try restoring it back to stock, but even in safe mode it does it.

I am unsure what to do at this point. Any clues / hints / guides / tests I could do?

Thank you for your time.
