Default "Let this thread Die" Possible safestrap recovery for at&t mega sgh-1527

Please go to hopsin4444's thread for the latest achievement in getting recovery for our AT&T Galaxy Megas SGH-i527. This thread is just confusing people now. Here is the link to hopsin444's work.

Default hashtag is intrested

This is what he is asking for. I wont be at a computer to do this until tomorrow if anybody else wants to look into it.

Can you pull the boot.img for me?

Also I need the output of the following adb shell command:
adb shell su -c "ls -l /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name" > output-partitionlist.txt
adb shell su -c "cat /sys/class/input/*/name" > output-inputlist.txt

for those that don't know, safestrap will allow us to flash roms and let us keep stock... like a dual boot. Its based on twrp.

I had already forwarded the boot image and was just now firing up adb.
Thanks a bunch for getting that. I want to see safestrap on here so bad, I can taste it. Not sure what roms will work but will worry about that later.

Is there an ODIN restore file available if I put a tester into a bootloop?

Unfortunately, I dont think so. We have a system dump but I think that is about it. If we get in boot loop, powering down and getting into recovery would be our only hope. I could be wrong and hope someone can give a clear answer about odin or confirm my statement.

Thanks hashcode for working on this. Gave the real early version a go but bootloop. Goid thing I have my note 2 with cracked screen until we get an Odin flashable recovery. Unless someone else know how to get it back. Tried from stock recovery screen... no go. Anyway, all in the name of development

If anyone is intrested in pursuing safestrap on the sgh-i527, contact hashcode or post in this forum. I think I may be jumping ship on this mega and all at&t or any locked bootloaders. Its been frustrating and I don't know what AT&T thinks they are doing except losing customers.

Very sorry about that @azpatterson

I really hope you can get an AT&T person to reset the device for you.
