Cool M8 vs. Galaxy S5 for Outdoor Visibility

Those of you who bounced back and forth between the M8 and the S5. If you had the chance to compare the two in direct, BRIGHT sunlight (Texas, Arizona, etc)... could you compare which one was easier to read?

I know the S5 can hit a higher NIT level than the M8, but it's only in "bursts" from what I've read. And cannot maintain that level for a long time.

By far the M8. In my opinion, HTC one m7 was better in bright daylight as the S4 was, and the same case is with the M8 and the S5. I was amazed at the fact that with the M8 it almost didn't really make a difference that it was hit by direct sunlight. Quite impressive
