Problem with awizard. Please help my device is DEAD

how can I use awizard if I cant turn on my device?
I can only get to Bootloader and when I try to press U in awizard I get a popup window saying my device is not connected.
when I confirm this popup (twice) the dos window state that it is initializing and says not to remove my device from the USB and it get stuck for at least 20 minutes
I cant turn on my device so Im trying to flash some other ROMs (like imate's) but cant do that because of ID issues.

What can I do? I am fraustrated, please help, my device is dead.

Hi,

If you device is stuck on bootloader, then you should update it with a no vendor ID rom like the one there are on the FTP ftp://xda:xda@xda-developers.com/ /Prophet/Shipped_Complete_Updates/
section.

The Dopod one come with no vendor ID, but if you do so, you won't be able to change rom later.
If you have another rom you would like to use, then you should download the file ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.zip in /Prophet/Tools/.

Connect your phone on usb when stuck on bootloader, extract the files of your Update Utilies (RUU ...) and change the executable with the no vendor one. You may have to copy the nbf (or something) file into the same directory as the executable.
Launch it and see if it works.

if it doesn't work then download the no vendir ID dopod rom and run the RUU, it will work but as I said, no turning back for now.

I have tried using this ROMUpdateUtility and it started flashing the rom, but when it got to 95% it said:
Error [326]: INVALID COMMAND
This NBF file cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please check your NBF file.

anything im trying to do, I still get this black screen with version numbers.
What is wrong?
It not that I have played with the device, it just happened. since then I am trying to flash different ROMs with no success.

I guess your prophet IPL and SPL is 2.15.xxxx
If yes, the only rom you can is Dopod newest rom.

Please, please, please, please help me.

I have HTC charmer and unfortunately put an dopod latest rom in it & now I am stuck in bootloader mode.
Please tell me & help me as I tried many roms but with no success.
I want to revert back to MDA Compact II rom.
Please Help.
