Upgrading to 4.4.2 from MI7? Lose Unlock?

Ok so just like the title says, i remember when i updated an S3 from 4.2 to 4.3 i lost my unlock, my note is unlocked with Chainfires Region away, and i currently use Straight Talk with AT&T for LTE, any idea if ill lose the unlock like i did with the S3?

Yes. Anytime you go from a custom to the official you loose root and unlock. Should be really easy to get it back though.

Look through the op and you will find the links for all the downloads needed for the t-mobile variant. It is a great ROM and in my opinion the best for the note 3.

I updated from MI7 to 4.4.2 KitKat and it's still unlocked. It's Chainfire unlocked and I'm on att.
