It works perfectly for me. I saw a large increase in speed, both perceived and benchmarked.

Whenever I tried OMPScaler, it would randomly reboot during standby. This one works just fine.

Great job.

1.is overclocking(the cab you made) good with the tmobile mda(us)?
2. will doing so void my warrenty?
3.does it drain the battery much faster?
4.does the extra speed make a big diffarence?
thank you so much!
1. Yes it should fine with your device
2. Yes it will void warranty but most of us have had no problems at all with it running at 240Mhz.
3. Only small increase of battery drain at 240Mhz
4. Extra speed does make a real difference - could not go back to the standard speed.
5. do i need to unlock my device to do overclocking or i can used tmobile brand device?
No, you do not need to unlock your device. T-mobile or any other brand of wizard will work fine.

Hmm interesting - sounds like you did everything correct - check on your device through file explorer in \program files\omapclock directory - you should have omapclock.exe, omapclockplus.exe and omapclock.lnk.

Looks like for some reason you have a missing omapclock.exe. Did you have omapclock installed before? as it needs to be completely uninstalled including the notification in the queue if you set it up.

I use the smartskey program and it has a feature to automatically overclock the processor both at startup and after hibernating. Is this program useful for me at all?

Yes you can overclock via the smartskey method - check the smartskey thread or overclocking thread for instructions.

You may find using the above cab a simpler solution.

My install doesn't stay registered after a reboot. Also it clocks back to default after it goes to sleep and doesn't overclock back on resume. Ideas?

On mine it has always stay registered - not sure where the key is to make it stay registered perhaps tom (the author) can help there.

It takes 10-15 sec wait before you can resume after a suspend - does it still not overclock after automatic suspend and then resume? Did you have omapclock installed before or smartskey?

Maybe I should make a new simple application to check OmapClockPlus is registered or not.

so, I would like to know that OmapClockPlus dialog's message after a reboot.

(OmapClock is already registered.)
or
(OmapClock is not registered.)

thank you

tom

I just tried this out...Omap starts up just fine...I can manually put it into suspend and bring it back up and it still stays at 240. But, if I let it go into suspend automatically, then try to bring it up, it goes back to default speed.
