That's a bug for sure. On all Stock Based ROM everything should work. As this ROM hasn't seen any updates for years I didn't use it, however other should have reported such a bug so my guess is something went wrong on your side and broke.good day,
i successfully installed this custom ROM to my samsung S5 sg900f , and i find out that all sensors (accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, gesture, heart rate, and gps) are not functioning anymore... is this normal for a custom ROM or there is a fix for it?

Maybe it's just a software problem you can fix by flashing stock ROM with Odin (best to use 4-parted/binary version for fixing) again and than a custom ROM. Also it can be incompatibility if you are using latest bootloader, as custom ROM ZIPs doesn't contain bootloader and there have been some updates to bootloader since this ROM was dropped. There isn't any Stock based ROM that is up to date with the last update, but this ROM is one of the first Marshmallow that stopped support.
It can also be hardware related if your phone dropped to the floor for example.
thank you for the response.
i have been playing/installing different custom ROMs and i found later that the sensors are not working anymore. i tried installing different stock ROMs (through flashing via odin) but all failed to fix the problem... this phone hadnt been dropped that is why i am so confused...
what is 4-parted/binary version? sorry, i am not with it
i hope there are other ways to fix this. all sensors not working except for the GPS.
Use SamFirm (latest version is still working fine) and check the "Binary Nature" option. Model for international variant is "SM-G900F" if you have other model replace it (mostly the last letter only) accordingly. The last unbranded update for the G900F is from "BTU" (GB) that's what I use, otherwise you can change the region to yours. Here you can lookup the firmwares. The program only downloads the latest version of the region.
When you look into your phone information is your IMEI still shown correctly or is it a strange number like all 0/1 or so? If so, you have a broken EFS partition and restoring it is a little tricky.
But first just try to flash the 4-part Firmware.
Just add each file to each option and don't worry adding AP needs a few minutes, that's normal.
IMEI is normal one. But you shouldn't share it, the IMEI is worldwide unique for each device (of course there are some ways to manipulate it, but it's meant to be for only one device).thank you for the help and response.
wow! i did not know about that sanfirm application. seems a very nice tool for firmwares. i will use that as you advised.
currently, i am using a custom ROM now resurrection remix 9.0 android at the moment temporarily (my energy is already depleted try-fixing and reflashing different roms/firmwares to fix this non-functional sensors hahaha)
link below is the picture of the IMEI of the phone. i am confused because there are two being shown; a visible IMEI one, and the other is "01" .. i dont know if that is okay ora damaged one...

for that 4-part firmware, you mean the firmware with separate files and not the single one? i will find it and will try to install as you advised.
all noted about the fimrware as well. i will update. hopefully it will fix this quite confusing problem. thanks a lot!!
