Hello, I am very new on the world of pda-phones. I have a Qtek S200
Can I change only the language (by replacing a file?) of the transcriber to spanish (the words used by it)?

I'm reading all about the change language, but i tried all the rom's possible in the ftp.clubimate; and nom of them worked.
I keep geting the NovenderId masage.
COuld anyone help me??

O bought my S200 in France and would like to change the language either to SPanish or ENglish(even better)!!!

Read the forum and find in your machine:
- SPL/IPL value, to check Number and chipset type (G4 or G3)
- Check your ROM version, you CAN NOT downgrade in most cases AFAIK. At least not below 2.15.0001 SPL/IPL
Then:
- Download the english NO_VENDOR_ID ROM. You need to install it first to "downgrade" to a baseline prior to "upgrade" to the latest releases.
- Download a valid ROM (The one of your choice) in one of the many places, forums, ftp sites, etc. Do a bit of searching, they are hot topics at this time in the Prophet forum. Install following carefully the instructions and enjoy.

Be aware that as of TODAY they are not any Spanish instalable ROM newer than 2.13 available. So if you go to an english ROM, there is no way back.

ROM Version: 2.15.1.32 ESN
Date: 3/9/06
Radio Version: 4.1.13.09
ExROM Version: 2.15.1.119

Should I update this ROM or isn't neccesary?
What are the improves?

Works any remote controller for the tv like nevo?

There are no Spanish ROM available newer than yours, so you can get some apps out there and install the CABs you might like the most.
Be aware, if you change to ANY OTHER ROM (Mostly English WWE versions), there is no way back to Spanish at the moment.

QTEK ya tiene preparada la ROM Spain para la S200, al parecer sera la version: 2.20.7.116

No, you have to upgrade your OS to change lang of your phone.

Lo mio tiene delito. Es una SPV M600 Orange holandesa, comprada por Ebay. No consigo meterle nada en Español, ni la rom oficial ni la Jamin.Utilizo el Noid, pero no funciona. En el mejor de los casos queda en la pantalla de colores, luego reseteo con el lápiz y regresa a su estado holandes. No llega a comenzar la carga de la rom.Funciona correctamente con sim de Movistar Vodafone y Simyo España. por eso creo que ya esta liberada. ¿Alguien me puede ayudar? Acepto cualquier sugerencia.Las instrucciones estan claras y son faciles, pero no sale. Ni cambiando el Niod.exe y sus otros archivos ni sin cambiarlos. Por favor, si hacen falta más datos no dudeis en perdirmelos. Gracias a todos de antemano.

What is my crime. Orange SPV M600 is a Dutch bought by Ebay. I fail to put anything in Spanish, nor the official rom or Jamin.Utilizo the noid, but does not work. In the best cases is on the screen color and then reset with the stylus and returned to their Dutch. Unable to start the burden of correctly rom.Funciona sim Simyo Movistar and Vodafone Spain. so I think it is already released. Anybody can help me? I accept any sugerencia.Las instructions are clear and easy, but no sale. Neither changing the Niod.exe and no other files or change them.
