[Q] Identify and factory Reset a car Android kit
I recently has installed an Android car Kit in my Altima. At the time, I wasn't really excited about it being android. I just went for the best model they had in Dubai at the time. It's not a very powerful device and was loaded with illegal ware. I removed most and attached my Google account and started legit purchasing. I noticed two illegal Play alternates installed. I removed them and right after that, my Play store also started to fail. I cannot download anything now. I remember the guy who installed (speaks language I cannot understand) turned On something relating to replace store list or URL in Play with another store or something option in one of the illegal store apps. I don't have either installed now and I'm stuck.
I read around and found out that removing google account and re-adding will fix this. Great. I went to accounts and tried to remove, it won;t allow as it is being used. I added another google account. Issue carried on to the new account. I searched and found out that installing Play services and bunch of other related Google applications will restore functionality. It didn't.
I'll just factory reset the damn thing. Went to options. Tried to factory reset, a weird error came up saying the command to reset failed completely. Something is missing. I'm trapped. I know there is an update available. I'm in Dubai and I'll have to go to Sharjah to get the update installed. I tried different ways to hard-reset it but no go.
I have snaps attached of the device. Any way to recognize it? It's sold by the name of "Still Cool" in UAE.
